On Monday, The University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth announced the appointment of Dr. Darrius Douglas as their new vice provost of enrollment management. With over 21 years of experience in strategic policy development and leadership in areas such as student services, enrollment management, financial aid, and enrollment marketing, Douglas is well-equipped to take on this new position at HSC.
Dr. Trisha Van Duser, senior vice provost at HSC expressed excitement about Douglas leading enrollment management at the institution. She highlighted his proven track record in strategic enrollment, data analysis, and customer relationship management as key assets that will drive future growth and expansion at HSC.
Douglas holds a Doctor of Education in Higher Education and Organizational Change, a Master of Science in Information Systems Project Management from Benedictine University in Lisle, Illinois, and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from DePaul University. During his time at the College of DuPage, he achieved a 5% increase in spring enrollment year-over-year and established a significant sponsorship with Amazon’s Career Choice Program.
In previous roles at the New York Film Academy and Tulane University School of Social Work, Douglas demonstrated his expertise by achieving record incoming class sizes and increasing enrollment numbers significantly. His strategic recruitment and retention plans at Tulane resulted in a marked increase in enrollment and transfer student enrollment, setting the stage for continued growth.
