Exclusive: Kings Set to Make Bold Trades at Upcoming Deadline

The Sacramento Kings are off to a hot start this season, with De’Aaron Fox leading the charge. In games where Fox plays, the Kings have a 6-1 record and are +13.7 points per 100 possessions. With their impressive play on the court, it’s looking like the Kings could be a force to be reckoned with in the Western Conference. However, despite their success, there is still one major obstacle standing in their way: finding the right player to take them to the next level.

According to The Athletic’s Shams Charania, the Kings are going to be aggressive at the upcoming trade deadline in order to acquire that missing piece. They’re eyeing potential targets such as Pascal Siakam, OG Anunoby, and Zach Lavine. While these players may seem out of reach for a team like Sacramento, general manager Monte McNair has done a great job at keeping the Kings’ assets tradeable.

However, not everyone is convinced that Sacramento is a destination for top free agents or trade targets.
