Everton FC Adds Senegalese Striker Iliman Ndiaye for £15m in Five-Year Contract
Everton FC has announced the signing of Senegal forward Iliman Ndiaye from Marseille on a five-year contract for around £15m. The 24-year-old forward scored four goals in 46 games for Marseille last season and was a key player in their Europa League semi-finals run.
Manager Sean Dyche expressed his excitement about the addition of Ndiaye, citing his youth, experience at European and international levels, and positive impact on the squad. Sheffield United reluctantly accepted a reported £20m offer for Ndiaye after his impressive performance with 14 goals and 11 assists in their promotion-winning 2022-23 season.
Ndiaye originally signed with Sheffield United from non-league side Boreham Wood in 2019 and had previously been part of the Marseille academy before moving to Senegal, his father’s home country. He is Everton’s third signing of the summer, following the return of winger Jack Harrison on loan from Leeds and the permanent move of central midfielder Tim Iroegbunam from Aston Villa.
