Ella Propheter Shines in Jamestown’s Flag Football Victory, Kaylee Leeper and Kendall Wilson Lead Defense in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 1 East Softball Game

Jamestown’s Ella Propheter celebrated with her teammates during Thursday’s Section VI Division 1 flag football game against West Seneca West. Despite some challenges in the air, the team’s overall performance was good. Ella played a significant role in the victory, rushing for 61 yards, scoring a touchdown, converting two two-point conversions, and returning an interception for a 64-yard score. The Red & Green team improved to 2-1 overall and 1-0 in the division after a 20-6 win.

Kaylee Leeper also contributed to the team’s success by adding 61 yards on the ground, scoring a touchdown, and a one-point conversion. She also broke up five passes and had four flag pulls. Kendall Wilson led the defense with seven flag pulls, including four sacks, while Chryssa Wahl and Abbie Brandow added four flag pulls each.

The Buffalo Bills’ general manager Brandon Beane joked about selecting a receiver in each of the seven rounds in the NFL draft during a pitcher’s duel in the Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 1 East softball game in Forestville.
