Eagles React to D’Andre Swift’s Impressive 4-Yard Run
The Eagles were able to tie the game at 7-7 in the second quarter with a touchdown run by D’Andre Swift. Despite a holding penalty that went uncalled, Swift gained three yards and scored a touchdown. The Chiefs and their coach, Andy Reid, were frustrated and sought an explanation during a timeout.
The Eagles had a rough start to the game with a three-and-out on their first possession. However, they quickly turned things around with a 75-yard scoring drive. They didn’t face any third downs during this drive, and D’Andre Swift played a key role by gaining 33 yards on five carries. Jalen Hurts also contributed with a 6-yard run, while DeVonta Smith caught two of Hurts’ completions for 31 yards.
In the first quarter, the Chiefs had 70 yards of offense while the Eagles had 67, making for a competitive start to the game.
