Eagles Close Gap to 17-14 with Jalen Hurts’ Impressive Rush
Jalen Hurts scored his eighth rushing touchdown of the season and the 34th of his career in the third quarter of Monday Night Football, bringing the Eagles within 17-14. The Eagles had struggled to score on their first seven possessions, gaining only 85 yards with 70 coming on the touchdown drive. However, they put together a crucial seven-play, 61-yard scoring drive at the end of the game, bringing their total yards to 146.
During the game, D’Andre Swift rushed for 78 yards on 11 carries and Hurts had four carries for 16 yards. In terms of passing, Hurts was 8-of-13 for 69 yards with an interception. A.J. Brown had only one catch for just eight yards.
