The city of Jackson is hosting a unique event for vendors and those interested in learning more about city departments. On May 6, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., the Carl Perkins Civic Center will host the inaugural City of Jackson Vendor Expo, organized by the city’s Purchasing Department.
Zach Polk, Purchasing Director for Jackson, explains that this event is open to everyone and is completely free to attend. “We want people to come in and talk with representatives from various city departments,” he says. “It’s an excellent opportunity for vendors to directly interact with people who make purchasing decisions in the city.”
During the event, attendees will not only have the chance to meet with city department representatives but also learn about upcoming business opportunities and projects in the city. There’s no need to sign up beforehand; simply show up on May 6th at the Carl Perkins Civic Center and take advantage of this unique opportunity to connect with city departments and learn more about business opportunities in Jackson.
