Discord to Retire Clyde, ChatGPT-based Chatbot in December
The experimental conversational tool, Clyde, which was based on OpenAI technology and utilized ChatGPT, will no longer be available on the Discord platform after December 1. Users will no longer be able to interact with Clyde to discover new content or play games.
Introduced in March as a discovery and recommendations tool, Clyde also provided entertainment through trivia and jokes. However, he did not offer advice as stated in his description. The technology company has announced that Clyde will be removed from the platform on December 1, after which users will no longer be able to interact with him in direct messages or server chats.
