COVID-19 Continues to Plague the World: An Update on Sub-Variants
As the world continues to grapple with the COVID-19 pandemic, we see ups and downs in the global morbidity graph. In fact, dealing with this virus is similar to what we experienced with the flu. However, unlike the flu that appears in the winter months, COVID-19 is a multi-seasonal virus that seems to change and produce new sub-strains.
It is important for everyone to observe hygiene rules such as washing your hands well and ventilating rooms. For people who are in a risk population, it is also recommended to get vaccinated. Despite these efforts, we must remain vigilant as COVID-19 continues to spread around the world.
