Cormac Ryan’s Path to NBA Success: From Stanford to the Thunder

Cormac Ryan’s dream of becoming an NBA player came true after he agreed to a short-term contract with the Oklahoma City Thunder. Despite not being selected in the 2024 NBA draft, Ryan had made a name for himself at Notre Dame with his solid performance.

Ryan had transferred to Notre Dame from Stanford and spent four years there, marking his time with impressive stats. He averaged 10.5 points per game over 31.2 minutes, making him a valuable addition to the team’s roster. Last season, Ryan also had success at North Carolina Tar Heels, scoring 11.5 points per game and shooting 35.5% from three-point range.

One of Ryan’s standout performances last season was when he scored 31 points in a road win over Duke, hitting six three-pointers in the process. The signing with the Thunder marks a new chapter in Ryan’s career, and fans are eager to see what he will bring to the team. While not hearing his name called in the draft may have been disappointing, Ryan’s determination and talent have earned him a spot in the NBA with the Thunder.
