Get ready to celebrate the holiday season in Brazil, Indiana, as the 4th Annual Hometown Christmas event returns on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Hosted by Brazil Main Street and the Clay County Chamber of Commerce, this event is part of Small Business Saturday and promises to be a festive day for all.
Local businesses and vendors in Clay County will be participating in the event, offering special activities and promotions for attendees. One of the highlights of the event is a scavenger hunt that will take participants to various businesses in the area. The winners of the scavenger hunt will be announced during a community Christmas tree lighting ceremony at 5:30 p.m. at Brazil City Hall.
With over 30 participating locations and dozens of craft vendors, this event provides plenty of opportunities for attendees to shop and explore. Participants can pick up a paper passport at any of the participating locations, then visit each business to collect a Christmas stamp. Once they have stamps from at least 20 locations, they will be eligible for prizes.
To make it even more convenient for attendees, Thrive West Central has created a Hometown Christmas layer in their Crossroads Trails App. This allows participants to easily see all of the participating locations on their phones and plan out their day’s activities with ease. To access the app, simply search for “West Central Indiana Trail Map” in either the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
Don’t miss out on this fun-filled holiday event!
