Chicago Bulls rookie Matas Buzelis has officially signed his rookie scale contract and will be joining the team for the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, along with second-year forward Julian Phillips. Other players on the roster include Adama Sanogo, Henri Drell, and Andrew Funk, who played limited minutes for the NBA team on two-way contracts last season. Marcus Domask from Illinois and Chase Audige from Northwestern are also part of the team, which will be coached by Billy Donovan III.
The Bulls will face off against the Golden State Warriors on July 14, the Detroit Pistons on July 16, and the Atlanta Hawks on July 19 in their first games of the summer league. Additional games will be determined based on their performance in the playoffs. Both Phillips and Buzelis are eager to get to work with the team after missing out on some time due to injuries last season.
As they begin practices for the summer league, excitement is building among players to showcase their talents on the court. For more updates, tune into the Bulls Talk Podcast.
