Central-Hickory Game to be Held at Local Mansion

The Central High School football team is set to play in the PIAA Class 3A playoffs on Friday. As the District 6 champion, they will face off against District 10 champion Hickory at Mansion Park at 7 p.m. Central’s last game was a double-overtime win over Clearfield in their first interdistrict matchup.

Meanwhile, Cambria Heights, who recently claimed their first-ever District 6 championship, are headed to the state Class 1A playoffs. They will face off against District 4 champ South Williamsport at Williamsport High School at 7 p.m. on Saturday.

Other district champions from our area include Bald Eagle Area, who won the District 6 2A championship and will play District 4 champ Southern Columbia at 7 p.m. on Friday, and Juniata, who won the District 6 4A championship and will visit District 4 champ Selinsgrove also at 7 p.m on Friday.
