Celebrating the Best of High School Athletes: Tulsa World’s All-World Awards Reveal Finalists and Fans’ Choice Awards

The Tulsa World is once again celebrating the top high school athletes in the Tulsa area with the All-World Awards. This week, finalists for winter sports will be announced, and fans can also vote for their favorite high school fans, mascot, band, cheer squad, and dance team in the Fans of the Year contest.

Boys basketball and wrestling finalists have already been revealed, with girls basketball set to be announced on Saturday. The World’s All-State boys and girls basketball selections will follow on Sunday. Finalists for fall sports athlete of the year were announced last year in football, cross country, volleyball, and softball.

The 2023-24 All-World honors will cover a range of sports including boys and girls basketball, wrestling, swimming, football, softball, volleyball, and cross country. Spring sports finalists will be announced in early June along with winners for specialty awards such as best comeback, inspirational and scholar athletes and a lifetime achievement award.

The winners for athletes of the year in each sport will be revealed at the eighth annual All-World Awards banquet presented by Bill Knight Automotive on Thursday June 20 at Legacy Hall at Cox Business Convention Center. Tickets cost $75 per person and can be purchased online at allworldawards.com. Seating is limited so it’s important to reserve your spot early before it fills up
