Abstract Guidelines for 2024 Global Health Week at MUSC

Call for Abstracts: Narrative Posters at MUSC Global Health Week Seek Solutions to World’s Biggest Health Challenges

MUSC Global Health Week is seeking abstracts for poster sessions in all areas of global health. The abstracts must be written in a narrative form and should not include any tables, charts, or graphs. The submitting author is expected to present the poster at the event and must obtain pre-approval from any co-authors before submitting the abstract.

To be accepted, abstracts must be well-organized, concise, clear, and well-written. They should include a description of the problem being addressed and the approach taken to solve it. While providing preliminary results is recommended but not required, authors must establish a clear connection between their work and outcomes related to global health.

The committee will evaluate submissions based on originality, presentation, relevance, quality, and clarity. Submissions that meet these criteria will be included in the poster session. Authors will be notified of acceptance by March 29 with detailed instructions on how to prepare their posters.
