West Seattle Crime Watch: Two Business Burglaries, Safe Found; Interrupted Car Prowler

Burglaries and Car Prows in West Seattle: Crime Reports and Photos

In the West Seattle neighborhood, four crime reports were reported. Two of them were business burglaries. The first burglary occurred at the Morgan Junction Domino’s and was initially reported as a car crash, but it was actually a crash-and-grab burglary. The safe was taken, but there was no significant damage to the business.

The second pizza burglary happened at A Pizza Mart, but the time of the incident was not provided. A reader emailed in a photo and report about a safe that was found dumped this afternoon south of The Junction. It is unclear if it is the same safe that was stolen from Domino’s. The safe was spotted in an alley between California and 42nd, south of Edmunds.

Lastly, in the North Admiral/Schmitz Park area, a car prowl was interrupted before any theft occurred. The incident was reported just before 5 am when the suspect was seen checking car handles. The prowler was scared off by the neighbor before any theft could occur.
