Browns are set to add Justin Hardee to their roster

Browns Secure Pro Bowl Special Teams Player Justin Hardee; His Skills Set to Bolster Cleveland’s Special Teams Unit

The Browns are set to sign former Jet Justin Hardee, a core special teams player, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media. Hardee, who was named a Pro Bowler after the 2022 season, spent the last three seasons with the Jets but will now join the Browns. No details of the deal have been disclosed yet.

During his time with the Jets, Hardee recorded 31 tackles and a forced fumble despite mostly playing one snap in the secondary. Prior to his time with the Jets, Hardee played four years with the Saints where he saw more playing time on defense and even had an interception return of 77 yards. However, special teams has always been his primary focus and this is expected to continue with his new team.

Hardee’s experience and success on special teams make him a valuable addition to the Browns roster. His skills in this area will likely be a key asset for the team moving forward. The details of the deal between Hardee and the Browns have not yet been made public, but his signing is sure to bolster the special teams unit in Cleveland.
