Jets reach out to Corey Davis for possible reunion

Breaking News: Corey Davis’ Possible Return to Jets Boosts Wide Receiving Group

In March 14th, Corey Davis was released by the Jets after applying for reinstatement to the NFL. However, there is a strong possibility that he could rejoin Gang Green. Coach Robert Saleh stated during a press conference at the AFC coaches breakfast that the Jets are in regular communication with Davis and that the door is always open for him to return. Journalist Connor Hughes has also indicated that the Jets are interested in bringing Davis back to the team.

If Davis does come back to the Jets, it will greatly boost their wide receiving group, which already includes Garrett Wilson and recently-signed Mike Williams. Last August, Davis took a break from football but was reinstated earlier this month, allowing him to return to the NFL. The 6-foot-3 wideout spent his first four years with the Tennessee Titans before signing with the Jets in 2021.

During his time with the Jets, Davis showed great potential as a valuable asset to their offense, recording 66 receptions for 1,028 yards and six touchdowns in his first two seasons with the team. If he ends up re-signing with Gang Green, it could create a dynamic wide receiving corps that opposing teams will have to contend with.
