This initiative was started by Gee Smith nearly four years ago with the help of Froedtert and the Medical College of Wisconsin, and Network Health. The goal is to break down barriers and make healthcare more accessible to men.
The event called “Reclaiming Wellness: Dismantling Health Stigmas for Men of Color” will take place today at Gee’s Clippers from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Men can register in advance or simply show up at the clinic. The goal is to provide a trusted space for men to discuss their health concerns and receive the care they need. Gee’s Clippers is committed to fostering a positive relationship between men and their healthcare providers.
