Boeing CEO Resigns Amid Safety Concerns and Increased Scrutiny

Boeing, a leading aircraft manufacturer, is facing changes in leadership. The CEO of the company, Dave Calhoun, has announced his resignation effective immediately. Boeing’s chairman Larry Kellner will also step down.

The reasons for Calhoun’s departure were not specified in the company’s press release. However, in an interview with CNBC, Calhoun stated that he made the decision to resign himself. In recent months, Boeing has been under increased scrutiny due to safety issues with its aircraft.
