Bloody Brawl at Plymouth Inn Leads to Arrest: Bill Ortiz Faces Charges for Battery and Public Intoxication

On the morning of April 2nd, 2024, Plymouth Police Officers arrived at Economy Inn, located at 2535 N. Michigan Street, in response to a call about a fight in progress around 12:50 a.m. Upon their arrival, officers found two males involved in a physical altercation.

According to the affidavit of probable cause, it was determined that the intoxicated males had a verbal altercation before one of them, Bill Ortiz, punched the other male in the face, causing injury. Ortiz was arrested and taken to the Marshall County Jail for Battery resulting in Bodily Injury and Public Intoxication.
