Bills Lead Jets 16-6 at Halftime

The second half of Sunday’s game against the Jets saw the Bills continue their offensive prowess, with running back James Cook scoring a 5-yard pass from Josh Allen to take the lead. The Bills scored field goals on their first three possessions to open up a comfortable 16-point advantage. However, the Jets managed to score their first points of the day before halftime on a touchdown pass from Zach Wilson to Breece Hall. Despite a missed two-point conversion, the Jets were able to rally and narrow the Bills’ lead to 16-6.

The Jet’s score was set up by an 18-yard pass from punter Thomas Morstead to defensive back Brandin Echols on a fake punt, followed by a roughing the passer penalty and two other Hall catches for 26 yards. Unfortunately, Bills safety Taylor Rapp was injured at the end of Hall’s touchdown and had to be taken off the field in an ambulance. However, Rapp was able to move on his own as he was being taken away.

The only extended drive of the half for the Jets came after Hall’s touchdown, resulting in 28 yards and three first downs. On the other hand, Allen has thrown for 128 yards, one touchdown and an interception on a Hail Mary at the end of half time and has thrown an interception in seven straight games.
