PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Portland Thorns ahead Janine Beckie tore a ligament in her proper knee and can miss the Nationwide Ladies’s Soccer League season and the World Cup this summer time with Canada.
Beckie tore her ACL in a preseason sport between the Thorns and the U.S. under-23 ladies’s nationwide workforce Wednesday.
She stated “heartbroken is an understatement” in a post Friday on social media.
