“Artwork for Science’s Sake,” a USI faculty-produced movie, awarded “Finest Hoosier Made Movie” at Victory Worldwide Movie Competition

Artwork for Science’s Sake: Stalking John James Audubon, a documentary produced by two professors from the College of Southern Indiana (USI), was not too long ago showcased on the Victory Worldwide Movie Competition in Evansville, Indiana. The movie, which obtained the “Finest Hoosier Made Movie” award, delves into the life and work of famend Nineteenth-century naturalist John James Audubon. Dr. Leigh Anne Howard, the Chair of the Communication and Media Division and a Professor of Communication Research, together with Dr. David Black, an Affiliate Professor Emeritus of Radio and Tv, labored collectively on this one-hour documentary. In a beneficiant gesture, the professors determined to donate their $500 prize to the Dave Black Endowed Scholarship for Radio-Tv at USI.
