Arizona has been projected as a No. 1 seed in the NCAA basketball tournament following a weekend road sweep against Colorado and an overtime win at Utah. This victory cooled off Tennessee, which had briefly held the top spot on the top line before being replaced by Arizona. Meanwhile, Connecticut, Purdue, and Houston remain in their positions as regional header teams.
Clemson and Virginia are among the teams trending upwards, while Wisconsin and Kentucky are moving in the opposite direction. The Mountain West Conference is still a possibility with six bids.
Mississippi and Utah are two of the teams moving within the “last four in” slots, while Nebraska and Nevada are also among them. Gonzaga, Cincinnati, Villanova, and Wake Forest are included in the “first four out” group. Additionally, Colorado, Seton Hall, St. John’s, and Providence are among the “next four out” clubs.
The NCAA tournament will have multiple “bubble games” happening over the next week. Some of these games include Marquette at Butler, Iowa State at Cincinnati, St. John’s at Providence, LSU at Florida, Mississippi at Kentucky
