
Alyssa Henry, CEO of Block’s Sq., Proclaims Departure from Firm
In line with a regulatory submitting on Monday, Alyssa Henry, the CEO of Sq., a unit of fintech firm Block Inc, might be leaving the corporate on Oct. 2. This comes after her nine-year tenure with the corporate. Following the announcement, Block Inc’s shares fell 2.7% to $49.86. Previous to her position at Sq., Henry served because the vp at Amazon Net Companies and sat on the boards of Intel and Unity Applied sciences, a software program agency. Block, led by CEO Jack Dorsey, focuses on service provider fee providers and provides an app for cryptocurrency buying and selling.
