Adena Health Expands Vascular Program with Two New Surgeons Added to Team

Adena Health has recently welcomed two new vascular surgeons to their team, signaling the expansion of their services. Dr. Rahul Kar and Dr. Vikram Rao are the new additions to the vascular surgery department at Adena Health.

Dr. Rao, who has practiced in Cleveland for nearly two decades, now serves as the medical director for vascular surgery services. He is board-certified in general surgery and vascular surgery, having earned his medical degree from Stanley Medical College in India and completed his residency at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta. He furthered his training with fellowships in trauma surgery and vascular surgery in Detroit.

On the other hand, Dr. Kar previously worked as a vascular surgeon in Washington, D.C., has returned to Ohio after earning his medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He completed his residency in New York and fellowship in California. Both doctors bring a wealth of experience and expertise in various vascular conditions such as aortic disease, carotid disease, limb salvage, and more.

Dr. Kar and Dr. Rao are excited to bring their skills to the community of Chillicothe, recognizing the need for advanced vascular care in the area. They are committed to providing the most current treatments available and ensuring that patients receive quality and modern care.
