As of April 26, a total of 28 border posts have been installed as part of the coordinate adjustment works on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, representing about 35 percent of the planned works. The expert groups from both countries are continuing their work on the border. Additionally, 20 border signs have been placed along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border. However, in the Tavush marz region, specific border demarcation works near the Kirantsi bridge are not visible.
Previously, Deputy Chairman of the Defense Committee of Parliament, Armen Khachatryan, had informed “Azatutyan” that the border demarcation process in the Tavush and Kazakh sectors had already been completed. This progress on the border posts and signs is part of ongoing efforts to delineate the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
