2024 USA Basketball Select Team Revealed: Badgers Micah Potter and Nigel Hayes Set to Represent in Olympic Games

On Friday, the 2024 USA Basketball select team was announced and included two former Wisconsin Badgers: Micah Potter and Nigel Hayes. The team also includes Jalen Duran, Cooper Flagg, Langston Galloway, Trayce Jackson-Davis, Jaime Jaquez, Brandon Miller, Trey Murphy, Keegan Murray, Brandin Podziemski, Payton Pritchard, Jabari Smith, Jalen Suggs, and Amen Thompson. This group of college basketball stars will train with the 2024 USA Basketball Men’s National Team as it prepares for the Olympic Games in Paris, France.

The select team is made up of 12 current NBA or G League players, two players with NBA, G League, international or USA Basketball experience and one incoming college freshman with USA Basketball experience. The team will be coached by Orlando Magic head coach Jamahl Mosley. Hayes has had a diverse professional basketball career with stints in the NBA and teams in Turkey
