2024 North Jersey High School Sports Awards: Holy Angels Girls Golf and Ramsey Boys Soccer Teams Win Team of the Year
The 2024 North Jersey High School Sports Awards recognized the Holy Angels girls golf team and Ramsey boys soccer team as Teams of the Year. The Holy Angels girls golf team has dominated the sport in New Jersey for several years, winning every major tournament including the Big North Conference, Bergen County, North sectional, and State championships. Led by juniors Inha Jun, Angelina Kim, and Sharanya Agarwal, along with younger standouts like Olivia Lee, Eleanor Lim, and Emma Bang, the Angels are set to continue their success with a talented roster returning next year.
On the other hand, the Ramsey boys soccer team had an unforgettable season. They finished undefeated in the state and became just the sixth team from Bergen or Passaic to secure league, county, and state titles in the same season. To end their impressive run, they won five consecutive shutout victories.
The North Jersey High School Sports Awards show is a significant event that recognizes high school athletes’ achievements nationwide.
