The 2023 World Girls’s Curling Championship is underway in Sandviken, Sweden.
From 18-26 March, 13 of one of the best girls’s curling groups from across the globe are battling it out for the world crown.
The week-long match begins with a round-robin stage the place all groups will play one another as soon as.
The highest six groups on the finish of the round-robin section will advance to the playoffs. People who end first and second will obtain byes to the semi-finals, whereas the third, fourth, fifth and sixth ranked groups will compete in qualification video games for the semis.
Within the playoff video games, the third-ranked workforce will play the sixth, whereas the fourth and fifth-ranked groups will play each other. The winner of those two video games will advance to the semi-finals.
The winners of the semi-finals will then meet within the closing to contest the world title whereas the opposite two groups will compete in a bronze-medal match.
The 13 groups competing within the match are – Canada, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, New Zealand, Norway, Scotland, Sweden, Switzerland, Türkiye and United States of America.
